Reiki Timers

Reiki healing is highly intuitive and the length of time one spends on a particular stage of a treatment may not be predictable. However, for many Reiki sessions (or indeed following scanning or dowsing which has enabled an assessment of need to be made) it will be possible to be more predictive and these timers enable the practitioner in such cases to select the time to be spent on each stage or hand position in advance and then focus on the treatment oblivious of time - the unobtrusive sound of a Tibetan singing bowl being struck as a gong will move you on to the next stage without your needing to think about it. If you have never used a Reiki timer you will be amazed at the difference they can make both to self-healing sessions and to client sessions.

The Reiki Timer is a beautiful pyramid made of solid wood which chimes a pure gong sound at regular intervals.

Ten seconds after you have set the Reiki Timer, you will hear its first beautiful chime and then again at intervals corresponding to your setting. Most useful to the Reiki practitioner, it is a reminder of the passing of time that leaves you free to be even more present to the sensations arising in the course of your sessions.

There are eight possible settings - time intervals especially adjusted to the practice of Reiki: every 2, 2 and a half, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes for up to 90 minutes. Of course, the Reiki Timer can be stopped at any moment by simply pressing the on/off button.

The Reiki Timer can also be used by other therapists who would appreciate a discreet and peaceful signal to regulate their sessions. It is also a beautiful reminder of mindfulness at any moment of the day.

The wooden part of the Reiki Timer pyramid is entirely handmade in solid wood. It is built to the perfect proportions of the Kheops pyramid, which Feng Shui specialists consider as a source of powerful energy, stability and balance.The Japanese characters say 'Reiki' in traditional and contemporary script.

The sound of the Reiki Timer is that of a Tibetan “singing bowl” digitally recorded, which gives it a very pure quality. There are 2 volume control options.
