Meditation mats

Our flat mats (termed zabutons in the Japanese Zen tradition) are made by us here in the United Kingdom to our own design. The mat is formed from a double layer of 100% recycled fibre wadding covered with strong 100% cotton drill fabric in a choice of eight colours.

Our flat mat is designed and made to keep its shape and to produce the correct balance of comfort and support, cushioning your knees and ankles. It is finished to a high standard with rounded corners and hand-stitched tassels to maintain form and stability.

Flat mats are traditionally paired with a meditation cushion or stool and together these items make up a meditation space wherever they are laid out.

We offer both a Regular Flat Mat and a Portable Flat Mat.
